Every version of the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Retention Schedule is recorded here, newest first, with what changed and when it took effect.

Version 1.1 — effective 04.09.2026

• 4.2 Licence to run the service — removed the limitation "for as long as you keep the Content on the service", so the operating licence is stated without that qualifier.
• 4.3 Public content → Public by default — rewritten: profiles, cards, hunts (with their maps and find locations) and scores are public by default and can be switched to private at any time, with future effect.
• 4.4 Improving identification — dataset location truncation tightened from 10 km to 3 km resolution (also updated in the Privacy Policy and Retention Schedule).
• 4.7 Coordinates — corrected: precise find coordinates are visible on public hunt maps until the profile, hunt or card is made private; they remain excluded from licensed datasets.
• 5. Identification is a suggestion — the deadly-lookalike warning is now worded globally rather than referring to Estonia.
• 9. Leagues, leaderboards and other players — aligned with the public-by-default rule.
• 11. Our stuff — added an explicit brand clause covering the ShroomShroom name, logo, wordmark, card designs and visual identity, with a copyright notice; the © notice now also appears on the website and in the product.
• Privacy Policy — recipient table and location sources updated to match public-by-default behaviour and the 3 km truncation.
